I’m very excited to let you guys know that I will be starting up the Forest School Sessions for RIMU Nursery’s Preschoolers on the 16th September!
The sessions will be on once a week and they will be between an hour and a half to two hours long. I will only be taking out 6-8 children per session; these will be the children who are 3 years old and above due to ratios changing outside.
The aim of RIMU Nursery’s Forest School is to provide the children with a rich outdoor experience that allows them to develop holistically (in all areas of learning) through child led activities. This allows them to build up their self esteem, self confidence and learn new skills as they grow and develop.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the training and I look forward to putting it all into action!
